The aim of Scraps of Paper is to make writing stylish again. The stationery is designed to be fun and inspiring, with plenty of colors and patterns to match your moods. The books are recycled from old hardcovers, and the cards are made from pages of these old books, making these one-of-a-kind items.

Special orders are welcome. Do you have an old favorite book that's tattered? I can turn it into a blank book or even a photo album. All of the books are hand bound with heavy weight paper. The recycled hardover books utilize salvaged covers that have been rebound with blank paper for use as journals, address books, notes, or anything else you'd like to jot down. Some books have open spines bound with ribbons, while others have a closed spine.

In 2002 I took my first bookbinding class and fell in love. For years I had been searching for the perfect journal, book or planner but was never able to find exactly what I wanted. Now with a few folds and stiches I can whip up a tiny blank book to stash in my handbag, or a large photo album to store pictures from my travels. I'm especially fond of tiny items, and therefore make lots of small books--as small as postage stamps. I'm originally from Rochester, NY, and now live in Providence, RI. I love chocolate, hate peppers.
